So what is a GOON-ETTE exactly???

I've been hearing a lot of talk from rapper PLIES about Goon's and Goonette's and I'm 90% clear on Goon's (except the part about being promoted from goon to boss...) but I still couldn't figure about what a goonette was so I went "SKRATE" to the source and called Plies...we'll actually I called Kirk Frankin 1st by accident because their picture in my phone looks the same.

Here's the definition of "goonette" according to THE DEFINITION OF REAL:
goon-ette
1. Strong, independent woman.
2. A woman who embodies and exudes confidence.
3. A woman who is able to overcome trials and tribulations set before her with style and grace.
4. Female hustler.
5. A survivor.

Sounds pretty good to me...so where can I find one of these "GOON-ette's?" Looks like I found one right here at iKnowTANK.com LADIES and GOONS, I introduce to you "FIYA." Enjoy the video and keep working hard...

Shake every hand you touch...1 year @ iKnowTANK.com

You never know who someone really is until you get to know them for yourself. Not dressed to the part, not speaking the language, not fitting into the "mold" of what you think someone should be doesn't mean they aren't that person. The say is true "you can't judge a book by it's cover," so the next time you think you have some figured out, accept the fact that you may be wrong...

Today marks the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of www.iKnowTANK.com instead of throwing a big party with a bunch of a-list celebrities and fanfare, ice sculptures, gift bags, open-bars, champagne, and a red carpet...I decided to just send out a mass message to all my loyal and unloyal iKnowTANK supporters.

Before you heard it anywhere else...Travis Porter "Black Boy, White Boy"

Word on everything, I get more people coming up to me asking how I find certain songs and how I know about them months before they become hits...the answer is "I'M NOT TELLING" If I gave away my formula them everbody would be a self-proclaimed "PEOPLE's CHOOSER"

So what I have new for this time is by Travis Porter, an new artist from Atlanta and he's on that "BLACK BOY/WHITE BOY" business. This seems to be all the trend these days...1st it was Jay-Z with the button ups, then blazers, then Kanye with the POLO, dare I say "Party Like A ROCK STAR[glad that's DONE...and yes it really is done]" can't forget the the "HIPSTER" movement. I just remember when the white boys wanted to be like the black boys...and they still do but I won't complain because we couls still be wearing Girbaud's with the color velcro and TALL Tee's (as some DIRTY CHARLOTTE N***A's still do).

HERE's TRAVIS PORTER's "BLACKBOY/WHITEBOY" thank me later.

Not for anyone in particular...but I'm sure someone can relate,JAZMINE SULLIVAN "In Love With Another Man

Spring is upon us and just as in times of the past, love is in the air. Congratulations to those out there that have someone that they love (that loves them back). To those that are still loving...keep looking or just stop looking and something will find you.And then there are those that have someone of whom they no longer want or someone who no longer wants them. My solution to this issue is simple...LEAVE.

A good friend to iKnowTANK.com and rising R&B songstress Jazmine Sullivan has releases another single from here debut album FEARLESS entitled "In Love With Another Man." I've liked this song since I 1st heard it for many reasons...and apparently so did the executives at J Records, as it was the song she performed for them that ultimately lead to her record deal.

In all, if you love something...love it HARD and hope that it loves you back, and if it doesn't...(___________________________________________________________).

Is it REALLY a "beef" if its funny?

When did it become cool for comedians to have beef. We saw it earlier this year with Katt Williams and Steve Harvey, not it looks like "WHAT MY NAME IS?" Shawty Shawty and Lil' Duval are gong at each others necks...this could be interesting because both of these guys are the types of fools I used to get kicked out of class with in high school.

ANY BETS on who's funnier???

THANK ME LATER...AMERICAN VIOLET

Based on true events in the midst of the 2000 election, AMERICAN VIOLET tells the astonishing story of Dee Roberts (critically hailed newcomer Nicole Beharie), a 24 year-old African American single mother of four young girls living in a small Texas town who is barely making ends meet on a waitress salary and government subsidies.

On an early November morning while Dee works a shift at the local diner, the powerful local district attorney (Academy Award® nominee Michael OKeefe) leads an extensive drug bust, sweeping her Arlington Springs housing project with military precision. Police drag Dee from work in handcuffs, dumping her in the squalor of the womens county prison. Indicted based on the uncorroborated word of a single and dubious police informant facing his own drug charges, Dee soon discovers she has been charged as a drug dealer.

Even though Dee has no prior drug record and no drugs were found on her in the raid or any subsequent searches, she is offered a hellish choice: plead guilty and go home as a convicted felon or remain in prison and fight the charges thus, jeopardizing her custody and risking a long prison sentence.

Despite the urgings of her mother (Academy Award® nominee Alfre Woodard), and with her freedom and the custody of her children at stake, she chooses to fight the district attorney and the unyielding criminal justice system he represents. Joined in an unlikely alliance with an ACLU attorney (Tim Blake Nelson) and former local narcotics officer (Will Patton), Dee risks everything in a battle that forever changes her life and the Texas justice system. AMERICAN VIOLET also stars Emmy Award® winner Charles S. Dutton and Xzibit.

iKnowTANK...is SO DAMN IG'nint

Life is too short to take it so seriously...all the time. Some time we just need to laugh at ourselves and/or someone else. If your having a long day at work, ready to go home, ready to leave home, broke, too rich, too fly, not fly enough, too fat, too skinny, about to lose your job, about to quit your job, or just plain T'ed (thats TIRED for the College Crew)...DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT...it could be a lot worse.

In the spirit of relaxing your mind iKnowTANK found some of the internet's most IG'nint video that just might make you laugh, smile, or at least keep you another "2 seconds from off [someone's] ass".

WARNING...these video's may not be safe for work...but that didn't stop you from coming to iKnowTANK.com so ENJOY.

iKnowTANK's LESSON's in HIP-HOP

The following are accurate accounts of some of the greatest moments in Hip Hop told by the artist themselves. What makes these videos so special is the fact that one way or another I have shared a small moment with them all. These video's were all produced by D-NICE who also Know'sTANK and was a great inspiration in my venturing into photography...he always tells me the same thing "KEEP SHOOTING..." and yes sir Mr. Nice, iWILL.

D-Nice Presents True Hip-Hop Stories: Monie Love from D-Nice on Vimeo.

MONIE LOVE(Know'sTANK...well actually she knows my man Safari way better than me but I gave her a t-shirt for her daughter in Miami and we talked about North Carolina. I saw her again like a year later and she remembered me...and she's HOT)

True Hip-Hop Stories - Kwame from D-Nice on Vimeo.
KWAME(Know'sTANK...I saw him in NY at 106 & Park, word to Josh Brown and Renaldo, the stylist to the stars. I also sat with him in Miami at the HIT FACTORY. We chopped it up while he was making beats and I was burning cd's. Just so happened that everyone else left the studio and I was the only person left that could give him a ride to the hotel...my pleasure)

True Hip-Hop Stories: Lords of The Underground from D-Nice on Vimeo.
LORDS OF THE UNDERGROUND(Know'sTANK...in his mind. I give them props because theywent to SHAW UNIVERSITY in Raleigh,NC and they used to wear the crazy AACA[African American College Association] gear and "HEAR COME THE LORDS" used to be my joint.)

True Hip-Hop Stories: Sadat X of Brand Nubian from D-Nice on Vimeo.
SADAT X OF BRAND NUBIAN(Know'sTANK...I used to see him all the time. Grand Puba is my cousin and I worked at DTP with Alamo...and the Big Homie. I didn't know how big Brand Nubian was when I was younger until older heads started to tell me...)
